Capitaland Vs MM2 Asia - Blue Chip Vs Growth Stock


If I need to play property stocks, at this juncture, I would avoid Capitaland at all cost. There are many other nicer property stocks as opposed to Capitaland's chart. At the red line drawn, there was a level of huge resistance and sellers looking to cash out and cut loss if Capitaland ever hits that zone. From reading the chart, it also reveals that the time to long Capitaland is not here yet and there maybe more down side starting tomorrow.


Of course, that's the stock and it has nothing to do with the physical properties develop by Capitaland. Capitaland is still one of the premier and most recognizable developer in Singapore and has a good reputation of quality homes. In recent years, the stock has plummet from a high of $6.11 at 2007 to now after near 9 years later, the stock is at 2.94 as of yesterday and it did not recover. The stock looks like more weakness to come and the growth for this counter could be stale without much upside in the long term. The old adage says that when there is a crisis, look to buy blue chips at cheap price and keep. Ronald K says that when there is a crisis, look for developing stocks to long and which has much more potential than blue chips.



Look at MM2 Asia, the company was listed in SGX and went IPO on Dec 2014 and within a 9-12 months period, the stock had moved from $0.18 to a high of $0.8+ before the stock went for a stock split for 2 for 1 share. This is the power of growth stock and this is the returns I am looking for. MM2 Asia was a growth stock as compared to a blue chip but it's slowly climbing to be a mid cap soon? The difference is Capitaland is like a developed country while MM2 is a developing country, so if you want to make $, go to the developing country because the opportunities in the developed country is stale. My mission is to uncover more growth stocks and add into my arsenal so that when the time comes, I am ready to whack, buy, hold and keep. Anyone interested?

Time Property for Investment - Unveiling a Secret Chart ?












First off, thank you for the invitation. It was a very well done project by Capitaland and I must say that the price is quite cheap considering the location and Psf with good furniture and quality interior finishing. I am not so sure on the downside since the discount was already factored into the project and considering this project VS other District 9 projects, I am pretty impressed. This is Cairnhill Nine with good investment yield % and long term growth returns.

Unfortunately for me, because of so many restricts and curfew by the Gov, if I were to buy this project, I am unable to flip it within the next 5 years unless I am willing to be tax by the Gov. 5 years is a long time for me and I don't think I have any patience for it. I would rather put the $$ in growth stocks and I can flip it anytime I want with strong liquidity flowing in/out. However with that being said, not everyone is like me and some want a more stable and fixed rental which I think this project can offer. The developer is Capitaland and they were recently in the news with an impairment loss of $110 million. At this point, I would prefer to buy a unit for personal consumption rather than investment because of liquidity issues.

I am not a property agent nor I have transacted any properties before. Every property agent I met, they all tell me the same old thing that no one can catch the bottom or buy now before the Gov remove ABSD or the price is very cheap now as compared to blah blah years back. I mean those are facts I already knew. I am only interested in making $ and so I am looking more on the speculative end. With that being said, the property stocks in SGX offer more opportunities than physical properties. Well, I can catch the bottom for property stocks and I can also catch the high if I really put in effort which I did many times over the past few years. If one were smart, she would buy property stocks first near the bottom and sell it off later where the $$ made can be use to make down payment for physical properties. The only question is how to do so?

I have discovered a secret chart which aided me over the years. Over the years, we know stock market and property make the rich richer and the only way to be rich is by either of these two. But what if you can do both at the same time, it is only going to turn you richer which I am planning to give myself this task. I have done it in 2009 and I am going to do it again one last time before I call it a quit and retire. See my records below.

Will Gov Lift ABSD - The Big Question Mark?



















Today newspaper just released an article and a prediction that the Gov may lift ABSD this year. See below for the read up.

The fact is I don't even bother because property is usually a longer view investment as compared to stocks and it required a lump sum of cash for the down payment as opposed to stocks where one may need only like $3000 to start with. Property also usually take years to appreciate it's value and it takes a good year for that frenzy buying to sky rocket property prices. That itself I am lacking of patience to do so. And if one were to buy a new property or a resale unit, she cannot sell for the first 5 years as the tax and penalty itself will erode any profits you make in your first property. With so many restrictions, I still prefer the liquidity in stock market as one can make $$ almost everyday.

The reason I shop for property is because I need a place now and I am looking for value, firesales unit that can appreciate high in the next 5 years. I will choose some good leader aka blue chips property to keep but still my main rice bowl is in stocks which allows me to fly faster. It's hard to flip properties now in Singapore, I have found my own way of doing so in stocks. Spackman - Short Sell This Hanging Fruit

As my title suggested that these hidden sellers will LATER turn into obvious sellers, the LATER came true with massacre everywhere that the buyers were seen panicky trying to flee away and get out of their long positions. The selling force was so strong that scare away the buyers so that we know that this selling could be profit taking by the Big Boys. Read below post.

Many might think that it is difficult to spot such details and it's hard to understand the stock market. In fact, I will tell you this, it's simple and easy because if it's tough, how can my assistant get the job done and shorted at 0.137 and covered at 0.13? He did it all by himself without any tips or assistance from me and more importantly, he started with 0 knowledge in trading. After just a few months, results started to reveal.

You don't have to learn from me and you can learn from anywhere you like but if you had been doing the same thing over the last 2-5 years and still not making it, then something must be wrong. Luckily for me, I am not a stubborn person and I can change my habits really fast. Doing something right over and over again with high success rate is a good feeling and there is no need to alter or change anything. While people say you learn as you grow everyday, I will say, if you found a successful way to be successful, stop learning but grow your team so that they inherit merits and good habits so that success can be achieved at a even higher rate. :)

QT Vascular - Same Operator as Spackman



Yesterday was a good day while today is a bad day. This morning when market opened, when I saw Spackman ran to a high of 0.129, I expected QT Vascular to follow through at least to 0.127 but it jammed there and stucked at 0.124 as the high. From there on, I saw an avalanche of sellers popping by and say hello to us. This time round there wasn't a halt and gap down but it triggered our cut loss level and time. I must say we are unfortunate again but we must accept defeat in this small loss. The important thing is when the market moved higher, we will need to reduce our lot size and not increase it so I believe this time round, I accept the wrong judgement. In my personal opinion, the stock is still strong, just that in the short term, there would be fluctuations and reactions. I am watching closely QT and some other counters till the right time.

A Wonderful Day - How I Time Property Market













It was a very last minute private sharing session today. Because the market is hot at the moment, my assistant decided to hold a sharing session and got me involved which I gladly and willing help him and all the members. It was supposed to be a 1 hour session but in the end, due to amount of valuable information, we finished our work at 5pm.

During the session, I introduced another powerful man and he will facilitate some of my trades and because I want all my members to make $$ with us, I introduced him to everyone and yes I am thankful for everyone who followed us to get your account ready. Today was also another exceptional day because not only I shared stocks, watched the market LIVE with the team but more importantly I share how to time the property market and how to select it carefully so that your time and $$ is not stucked. Due to the last minute movements of the market, I wasn't able to share the full spectrum of timing the property market, but not to fret, I will be scheduling the next session for sharing and please make yourself available.

The day ended when me and my assistant went for dinner and chat about business and trading ideas for tomorrow's market. We found some potential stocks but my left hand man will facilitate some information to me and all I need is to hop in at the best time.
