Took a day off and enjoyed myself at Capella Singapore. It's a nice place for retreat and rejuvenate while I also worked there to scan for stocks for the week. The ambiance there is top notch and the service there is unbelievable. I had been taking breaks recently and I think as we grow older, our body is not used to be how it was last time. I get tired easily and need more rest. It was an overall good day in Capella as I can focus my work and get my job done productively. I am pleased that everyone made some good $ in Capitaland yesterday and looking forward for the next one.
It was a long day at work yesterday as I conducted a rarely Saturday afternoon event for game plans for next week's market. I appreciated all the attendance and the seriousness everyone take in making $$ with so much opportunities around. During the event, I shared many wonderful trading philosophies, market outlooks, knowledge and skills so that all can prepare yourself for the battle next week. For a profitable company to sustain, trust me, as per the quote above, 85% of my company success is due to my personality and commitment skills while 100% is also due to my technical knowledge which over so many years, my business is growing bigger to larger scale now. After work, I finished the night with a relax spa and chill out in a tranquil environment. It was quiet and I can concentrate doing my homework for Monday's selection of stocks. As I scanned and analyzed some stocks, I found a few potential ones for trading tomorrow as the Dow was up +347 points last Friday where my many blues might gap up. I enjoyed my evening in this quiet environment and looking forward to the upcoming events lined up with students in the coming weeks.
Worked at the Changi Airport Terminal 4 the other day and oh my, the ambiance is really soothing and artful. The marble they used on the wall was really top class and the whole environment is something I would go there and work again. Not much phone calls, no disturbance and one can really relax and sit quietly to think of the next game plan. I will try plan to work more often in the airport as it's something really enjoyable and productive.
I remembered giving a sell call in DBS to lock in profits while I was flying for a holiday and I received many thank you messages where everyone made $$ which made my holiday even more fruitful. Thank you and congrats everyone. Click below to see we made $$.
Had a lunching session earlier just now at Hai Di Lao with an old friend of mine whom is my mentor who taught me many things about stocks and life. Without him, I wouldn't have so many wonderful, simplistic strategies that I discovered along all these years. It was a good catch up as he shared with me many wonderful stocks for trading and investments and I am looking forward to share with my some of you whom I think you have the potential. The market is really plentiful of opportunities now so don't waste it and get the job done. Can you see I am busying storing all the stocks my friend shared with me into my watchlist for future trading/investments?
Went for a high tea as the market suddenly had a reduction of opportunities and I think it's best to stay out for now and take a break. Went to UOB Privilege banking for a high tea and enjoy and cool, cozy and tranquil ambiance there. I seldom read the newspaper and suddenly I found it interesting to see so many news with so much gossiping on the Singapore budget. I also read some finance news but it's mostly late news without much chances to make $ in the market.
I strive hard over many years to make it to UOB Privilege banking and I never thought I would have made it. So if you put your mind and focus to anything you want, everything is possible. Don't shut the door and get our of your comfort zone because to achieve something you have never achieved before, you have to first do something you are not comfortable at. At least that's how I did it.
Went for a deep tissue massaged and relaxing spa after a long day of work. Work keeps me busy and alert while massages keeps me calm and recharged for the next day. Haven't been for spa a long time as I normally do get a lot of phone calls during the spa session and hence I decided not to but life is short, I need to find a work life balance and decided that I need a small pampering before I can soar to greater heights. The spa and massaged session was great and I could 100% empty my mind and not thinking about any stocks and figures. I will try to do this more often.
It was a long day watching the market, giving talks and then trading where work is never ever finished. I enjoyed my work but I know resting and taking breaks is equally important too and hence I decided to take a day off and put the market aside. Phone calls were consistently ringing non stop and I also decided not to take calls or answer any messages. It was one of the better breaks where I can totally put my mind at ease and enjoy my hobby like watches and travelling rather than keep watching and trading.
Enjoyed the wonderful SPA, quiet serenity and the space for tranquility. Occasionally here and there, I would still check on some of the stocks in my watchlist but nothing more than that. I wish to have more of such moments and hence I have to set a goal before I can retire with ease and peace. Here, I wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year. May the year of Dog bring us more luck, prosperous and opportunities in the market. :)

It's pre CNY today and I went to do a LIVE Trading earlier in the morning and once again I shared my accurate outlook BEFORE the market opened and take a look at my prediction at 7:11am and the aftermath at 12.00pm. The STI indeed rebounded and made up for the selling yesterday where HSI managed to close +700 points. I am glad everyone made $ while the secret to success is by taking good actions when opportunities arise.
After LIVE Trading, I went coffee with a small group of students and shared with them how to be an ace trader and what it takes to work for me as currently I am looking for market watchers in my company. I have a shortage of quality, fine and focused trader which I am constantly searching for a few. As with all festive season, I normally work than to take breaks or celebrate. Hence after work, I went shopping alone, had a very late lunch and went to my friend's shop to take a look at his shop concept and design. I must say I am really impressed on the interior and exterior at how minimalism and zen aesthetically his shop is which motivated me to work even harder to get another new house. I will be involved in the designing process where I want my new house to be plain raw and aesthetically soothing so that when I am back home from work, I am fully recharged for the next day to perform even better.
It was a busy day for me today as I conducted LIVE Trading earlier in the morning @ 9am first before I dismissed the class and work on my other matters. The market was vibrant in the morning but I decided that it's more for taking profits than go long. For those who went long yesterday on the banks based on my outlook, today is a good day to protect capital and lock in profits. For the whole market the market was unusually quiet without much stocks moving except the banks. Hence, I decided to dismiss the class and work on scanning some potential counters.
After I ended everything, I had a chat with 2 students and we decided to go for a quick coffee and discuss about what stocks to buy next since it's a bullish day. To be successful, one must work under high pressure and that's where I got one student to scan stocks and give me a stock that would at least have a chance of running. After several minutes of scanning, he gave me MM2 and I approved his stock picking skills. The MM2 chart has all the bullish setup I need and hence I decided to give my mirror team to trade this stock. Most of them got in at 0.465-0.47 and as of now it's 0.48. The chart has a nice collection setup and to add on spices, DBS gave a report on the target price of $0.75 which is a surplus for this counter. We decided to trade this counter and is now in the $$.
The next thing I checked was Unusual Group which is a sister company for MM2 and it's up 10% today which also gave a boost to MM2 price run today. All in all, it's a good day especially after LIVE Trading as the coffee session turned out to be a $$ making session. Here, I thank Jasper for sharing and picking out this stock for me.
