Last evening was great as I traded with a gorup of traders and we went to a shorting spree, looking for weak stocks to trade. I shorted Dow Jones, Netflix and Apple. All were in profits and all were great but lost $$ in Micron. I am very pissed with Micron because I held for almost 1 week and the day when I cut loss, the day the stock dropped even further more! Sometimes it's just like that where if I have a clue about where the chart is moving or something big is going to happen, I would rather take a small loss first than gamble. With my Dow Jones, Apple and Netflix trade, I have probably covered my Micron loss but still I would have made much more profits instead. :(
Finally towards middle of night about 1.30am to 2am, the bad news about the trade war came and the market slumbered. My prediction was wrong where I sent a whatsapp out to all my US traders at 7.46am to tell them that something goo might be happen from the chart. Everything collapsed and although I lost in Micron, my 6th sense told me something was about to happen, just that I made the prediction in the wrong direction. I wish I could made it right yesterday and reverse the position but I have to let it go. I am moving on to the next trade now. The small was small in Micron about 30 cents loss but it could have be a $1.00 gain. What a day!
